City presents billion-dollar infrastructure plan
The Plante administration has presented a $1.17B program for 2018 of work to be done on roads and waterworks, and also promises to find ways to make the construction less disruptive.
Tuesday morning there’s more detail about the roads being fixed, including St-Denis between Jean-Talon and Jarry. I’ve taken the 31 bus along there often. I don’t know what’s up with that stretch of the street but it’s so bad that it makes a brand new city bus rattle and shake like an old jalopy.
More notably, Ste-Catherine between Bleury and Mansfield, and St-Hubert all the way from Bellechasse up to Jean-Talon, are on the list.
