Softball: too many excuses

Plateau borough is forgetting that multiple excuses are weaker than one good one. La Presse covers the softball story, with Alex Norris quoted not only with the story of a woman suing the city after a hit with a stray ball, but also a new explanation that the north field was only ever meant for kids so adults shouldn’t have been playing on it anyway. The diamond “n’est pas suffisamment grand pour se conformer aux normes établies par le ministère de l’Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport pour de la balle molle” as if bureaucracy ever was the point in a local pickup game tradition.
