Food trucks evolve to corporate events
After all that fuss, many food trucks are deserting street service and taking to corporate events instead, where the crowd is guaranteed and the city’s rules won’t be in force. Seems like a microcosm of the drift of cultural life in general, the desertion of the commons for the clearly owned space.
