I hope it eventually goes forward. It makes so much sense in terms of relieving congestion on existing lines and finally providing rapid transit to some densely populated yet underserved areas.
I’d welcome it as taking some of the pressure off the orange line, which can really be sardines in the morning. But if it’s ever completed, it will probably, in the words of Camillien Houde, be over my dead body.

Yes. Especially since the blue line extension will likely put even more pressure on the east side of the orange line.
