Montreal City Weblog has been tracking Montreal news and changes in the urban fabric since 2001.

Blogger Kate McDonnell is a lifelong Montrealer who has worked as a typesetter, proofreader, graphic designer, content editor and copywriter. She does web and print design, writing, translation (F to E) and copyediting on a freelance basis and has also taught in a graphic design program. Her favourite print colour is Pantone Red 032 and her favourite named web colour is Firebrick.

Montreal City Weblog was the subject of an article in Le Devoir in 2004. Steve Faguy did a Gazette article about this blog in 2006 and posted an extended version of the article on his own blog. (Any technical notes mentioned are no longer applicable.)
