The Quebec construction commission investigated and has found zero evidence the Côte-des-Neiges mosque ever asked for women to be barred from the construction site outside, verbally or in writing. Right-wing mob La Meute are apparently still planning to hold a demonstration there on Friday: a statement on their Facebook page (which I decline to link to) rambles a bit about the doubtful veracity of the story but indicates the demonstration is still on.
Friday morning: CBC radio news says the demonstration has been cancelled. Wanna bet this was at least partly because of the temperature?
