I gather from Twitter and other sources that some folks here think it’s a good thing that Vladimir Guerrero has been elected to the baseball hall of fame. This item says Guerrero was “a notorious bad-ball hitter” and I don’t even know whether this is good or bad.

CBC went to talk to one of the U.S. Navy people whose ship, the brand new USS Little Rock, is stuck in the frozen St Lawrence near Habitat. Nice side touches remind us of the nature of the ship: the ship’s crew calls themselves the Warhawgs, and the commander is quoted: “USS Little Rock call sign vengeance is back.”
