Gas leak shuts McGill metro and its malls

A gas leak that started Thursday afternoon around 3 caused the evacuation of McGill metro and attached malls. Streets were closed and power shut off in the area. The leak was fixed around 6 but the station didn’t reopen till 7:30. An excavation mishap is being blamed.
