We had a couple of threads last summer about the Maisonneuve plaques on Place d’Armes but it’s back in the news with the building owner, the Bank of Montreal, offering to erase a single phrase in the wording, while a Mohawk historian would prefer to leave them but add additional plaques giving the indigenous view of the incident.
