Blue line: five stations by 2026

In mid-1962 work began on the Montreal metro. By the full opening in May 1967 we had 26 stations operating.

We’re going to begin the blue line extension soon and it’s going to take eight years to build five stations from St-Michel: Pie-IX, Viau, Lacordaire, Langelier, Anjou by 2026. Any thoughts on why it’s going to take so damn long?
