Heat wave expected for long weekend

There’s already a special weather statement on the government weather page warning us of a heat wave coming for Canada Day weekend. Starting at 30° on Friday it will crest to 34° on Sunday and Monday. CBC emphasizes how hot it will be for moving day.

A campfire ban is already in effect in a lot of places, not that this will matter much in town.
