Beaudry Metro closes Monday

Beaudry metro station will close on Monday for an 8-month cure de jouvence. (This is an oddly written piece: “At night, rats emerge from slats along the floor, evoking the Orwellian nightmare depicted in dystopian novel 1984.” Slats? 1984?)

There will be a shuttle bus, the 815, from Berri-UQÀM to Papineau, but that’s almost not needed – the distance is a mere 1.3 km. Info is on the STM site.

I’m happy they’re keeping that crazy moving sidewalk.
