Westmount renos irritate neighbours

A Westmount homeowner doing a fairly big transformation to a house – with official permits – is annoying the neighbours who are reacting to the changes, including the removal of trees. Forgive me – as a mere tenant in the city it gives me a little frisson of schadenfreude to know that even wealthy people with comfy Westmount homes can be inconvenienced by neighbours with power tools and unaesthetic plans.
