Snow removal guys don’t want side bars on trucks

An association of snow removal firms is denouncing Montreal’s decision to require side bars on snow trucks for pedestrian safety. Flailing for an excuse, the spokesman says they’re not proven to save lives, plus it’s too soon, and it will make snow removal too expensive.
