Church fire: ice makes firefighters’ job harder

A fire broke out in the rectory of an abandoned church Sunday morning and it was difficult to get it under control as equipment iced up. Item says St‑Bernardin‑de‑Sienne is a heritage site, although the church is one of the postwar Catholic efforts with little to recommend it architecturally.
