Owners of houses on old dump are left hanging

People who bought property in the environs of Baldwin Park in the eastern Plateau have been left flapping in the wind by a Superior Court ruling that the city owes them nothing, even though a 1994 report (kept secret by the city administration at the time) mentioned outgassing from the old dump festering under buildings in the area, and the initial 2015 news story that sparked this court case proved that the city had maps showing where the old dumps had been.
