Police blotter, Friday morning
A pedestrian was badly injured by an SUV while crossing l’Acadie in Ahuntsic, Thursday evening. The driver fled.
Also Thursday, somebody got stabbed during a fight in the secondary, unmanned entrance to Laurier metro. It’s not life-threatening.
Another man was stabbed in St-Léonard close to midnight.
I’ve often noticed that people get stabby when the weather’s hot – and the heat wave warning has been extended to Tuesday.
