Hochelaga tent city faces eviction
Protesters are at a tent city on a lot in Hochelaga – the Boisé Steinberg – that has been issued with an eviction notice by the owner, the Ministry of Transport.
In Le Devoir, Zacharie Goudreault examines the growing phenomenon of tent cities and what the authorities may try to do to make them unnecessary. Update: The camp was dismantled Monday afternoon by police.
