Montreal East fire still burning
The fire at a recycling company in Montreal East on Sunday broke out again Tuesday morning and was still burning mid Tuesday. The mayor of Montreal East, an independent town, is angry that she was left out of a conference call by civil security making plans around the fire.
Fire is bound to be a risk when recyclables pile up. Some may remember a fire in a paper recycling company in lower Point St-Charles a few years ago which also took some time to put out.

Fire is a risk when any combustible is accumulated…. That said… reminder about St. Basil le Grand. Not recyclable then and only very mechanically now.
