TVA vs the Henri-Bourassa bike path
TVA is collecting ire against the Henri‑Bourassa bike path, with owners of small businesses saying it will put them out of business.
By now, doesn’t the city have numbers showing that the REV hasn’t damaged commercial activity on St‑Denis, or from any of the other streets where there’s a bike path going past storefronts? Even from the pedestrianization of Mont‑Royal this summer?

And, even if he’s not lying and customers do express worries every day about the bike path, those customers are probably all SUV or wannabe SUV drivers who read the JdM and watch TVA, both of which constantly stoke car addicts’ fears.
This is yet another example of Quebecor — yes, it’s spelled without an accent — trying to influence local politics. They’re not media outlets; they’re propaganda tools.

Some enterprising person should set up an e-rickshaw service to ferry patrons up and down the path.
