Cemetery still slow to bury the dead
Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery is criticized in this piece for cutting its staff to the point where things are not getting done, files are vanishing from the office and weeds still proliferate (although I’m rather a fan of tall weeds in cemeteries).

The 2020 story “Groundhogs occasionally dig up bones at Montreal’s Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery…. Bones are collected, reburied in same spot where they are found, says cemetery spokesperson”. Without the proper, a basic job like this staff it takes how long?? And how much longer with the weeds covering things up for easy surveyance.
