Police blotter: Ste-Catherine Street

Police witnessed one man shooting another, early Friday on Ste‑Catherine near Crescent. The victim is in hospital and the attacker was swiftly arrested.

A little later, but still very early, a man was found dead on the esplanade of Place des Arts near police headquarters, as Radio‑Canada emphasizes.
