Guilbault to leave politics
CAQ star Geneviève Guilbault, one of the ministers considered a plausible new party chief, is instead leaving politics at the end of this term.

La Presse told us two things on Jan 15 when it wrote:
“Geneviève Guilbault et des membres de son équipe au moment où elle était aux commandes des Transports ont reçu un préavis de « mauvaise conduite » de la commission Gallant sur le fiasco SAAQclic, témoignent des sources caquistes bien au fait du dossier.”
First, she’s received an advanced copy of part of the Gallant report (due out in February) which contains a negative finding concerning her.
Second, since the “préavis de « mauvaise conduite »” is provided to the person concerned in secret by the Commission, to give them a heads up and a chance to have any important detail reviewed if appropriate, someone she works with in the CAQ is talking to the press, and has again thrown her under the bus.
