FIQ president Julie Bouchard said there are about 15 points that still need to be hashed out.
“I get the impression that there is no urgency from the government on these negotiations that are so important to us and the public.”
They had sent the government a counter-offer on Friday and they still haven’t heard back from them. I’m confident that zero CAQ members involved in the negotiations spent their weekend dealing with this.
They should scare the CAQ by telling them from now on they’ll deliver all health services only in English as a form of protest, I’m sure it’ll trigger a faster response. Haha, if only they could.

They need their weekends to spend all that extra cash they have on hand because of that 30% raise they gave themselves.

Unrelated but the service in English at the CHUM is out-of-this-world and makes me heart Montreal even more.
P.S. Honk honk.
