REM to open new branch soon
The REM is planning to offer free rides on its new branch on November 15 and 16 – the same weekend that STM drivers were considering a strike.

Yeah but the only way I can get to REM stations is by bus or metro. I don’t live that near to one.

It’s meant so that people get there by bus, but it certainly wasn’t designed for it.

The planning actually involves changing bus routes to feed the stations, but the same thing happened around the development of the metro.

I think EmilyG’s point might have been that she can’t even get to a REM station if the buses also aren’t running? If that wasn’t actually her point, it’s still a valid one…
