Shoebox houses, a style of residential building specific to Rosemont and parts of the Plateau, are vanishing one by one as they’re bought cheap to be knocked down. The Journal looks into it.

I think it isn’t specific to those places. The article says they’re in other places as well, and that Villeray-St-Michel-Park-Ex has the most.
I wish I could live in a shoebox house. It’d be nice to not have anyone living below or above me.
