Death raises questions for daycare
The man found dead near St George’s church downtown, a week ago, has raised concerns about the wisdom of having a homeless shelter and a daycare side by side on church premises, especially given that the body was found in the daycare play area. The death has been ruled probably not a homicide but it’s still not entirely clear.

Finding a dead guy is a stark reminder of the precariousness of homeless life. I’d imagine the question of syringes and dropped pills would be much more of a concern than any direct meddling with well guarded children.
