Low turnout presaged for November 2
Last mayoral election, 38% of eligible voters cast ballots, a decline from a still not very impressive 42% four years previously.
It seems unlikely we’ll see a sudden surge of interest this time, with a lacklustre campaign combined with the delay in getting voter cards out.

Not exactly, but a total of 52 votes Tuesday morning doesn’t seem excessive.
