Bus hits pylon, big outage on South Shore
There is a big power outage on the South Shore following the crash of a bus into a power pylon by highway 30 on Saturday night. A ripple of power dips hit parts of Montreal at the time, but no blackout.

Still without power. At least it’s cool this morning. I didn’t think it was that bad an accident. I don’t know, but it shouldn’t be so easy to topple a hydro pylon. Maybe put up a fence around it especially it it’s close to traffic? Anyway hope they get it up and running soon….

Those things are a lot more fragile than they look… though the bus must have been moving pretty fast if it went through the barricade thingy. https://maps.app.goo.gl/o9zUGhSVdTygqKVDA
