Cartoonists this week
The visit of King Charles to Ottawa was a gift to editorial cartoonists this week. Chapleau paired him with Mary Simon and Côté imagined a jokey gift from Quebec. Godin showed us what he thought of it all.
Justin Trudeau’s choice to wear gaudy sneakers with his suit at the Throne Speech event was also a gift, although it was in line with his father’s pirouette behind Queen Elizabeth decades ago.
The SAAQClic scandal gave us Chapleau on Geneviève Guilbault and also the best cartoon of the week from Godin.

Just piling on here, I like it too. I have always enjoyed the news recap aspect and having a weekly overview of niche stuff is appreciated.
