Cartoonist sweep of the week
Quebec City’s 3ième lien has been a theme of the week. The main impact in Montreal derives from the Quebec government wasting more than a billion dollars badly needed for health care and education.
Côté on the cost of the project, the parting of the Red Sea and with a joke I admit I don’t get. Chapleau also has a go at Geneviève Guilbault.
Chloé on the signs of fascism; Côté on the survival of the missing kid; Chloé on the indigenous nations of Quebec for National Indigenous Peoples Day.

Regarding Côté, I think Legault and Guilbault are backstage, and the audience is bored journalists.

That makes sense, Kevin. The story must feel like an endless epic if you live (and do news) in Quebec City.

I see it as a pun on the fact that they numbered the 3e lien but it’s also a number (as in ‘a stage number’, just a show). They need a new number because it’s getting old/the name 3e lien is overused as a new promise. Not his strongest in any case.

Oh good point. I hadn’t associated number with the show context. Thanks.
