Air Canada’s striking workers have decided to defy the government order forcing them back to work. The airline has cancelled plans to resume flights.

I think the flight attendants still have the majority of Canada on their sides. I like the union rep who said: “To legislate us back to work 12 hours after we started? I’m sorry, snowstorms have shut down Air Canada for longer than we were allowed to strike.”

Yeah that’s definitely the winning quote of this labour action. It should be engraved on a plaque at AC headquarters.
