Bixi bikes have made Time magazine’s Best Inventions Hall of Fame. It’s one of the entries for 2008.
Adding another Montreal bit in major media: The Economist item about cycling revolutionizing transport ledes with the REV.
I just wish they hadn’t headlined it “Forget…”

I love going to other cities (Mexico City, London, NYC, etc) and seeing Bixis.
Strangely they don’t have the same electric bikes, but the original ones are the classic Michel Dallaire design manufactured by Devinci in Chicoutimi.

There should be a rule that all bike share memberships apply to all bike share services in all cities.
