  The young man who shot at the door of Fitzroy bar last May has been sentenced to 5½ years in prison.

  The number of flat tires from potholes is soaring this season.

    Jeez, an average of 75 per day! Wow.

    I heard a CAA guy on CBC recently say that about 6% of those flat tire incidents also include more serious damage to the car, such as wheel damage, brakes, suspension, etc.

  The Peel Pub is to reopen under new administration.

    Why oh why would someone want to open a new business branded as the Peel Pub? Are there really people who miss it?
