Good Friday: March gets shorter
Column-inches devoted to reporting on the Good Friday march get shorter every year, as does the march, which used to bisect the island from Gouin to Old Montreal, but now ends at Laurier.

Rioting is more of an urban thing. You can’t really “demonstrate” much in suburbia or small towns. Everyone is in their car all the time listening to trash media.
