Shots fired at Muslim cultural centre
An unknown man with an airgun fired 11 times at the Assahaba Muslim cultural centre on Bélanger just inside Rosemont, Monday evening. Windows were damaged but nobody was hurt. CBC calls the weapon a BB gun.

Specifically, they call it a BB rifle, which is incorrect as the photo from TVA shows it was a pistol. So technically it was an “air pistol” but “BB pistol” would also be true if it fired BBs, but not true if it fired .22 or .177 pellets, in which case it was a pellet pistol. IS THAT SO HARD?

Is it? I’ve never so much as touched a gun of any kind, so I have no idea whether journalists are being accurate in these matters.

If he’s unknown, are you sure he’s a he? With the mask, it’s quite hard to say. I’d guess yes, but I note that both articles you link to are careful not to presume.
Interesting that Adil Charkaoui preaches there. I wonder if that’s a coincidence.
