André Brassard, 1946-2022

Theatre director André Brassard has died at 76. He’s widely credited as a creator of modern Quebec theatre, having worked closely with Michel Tremblay on many of his works, and putting Quebec joual on stage for the first time with Les Belles-Sœurs in 1968.
