Looks like Tom Mulcair was right when he said these hearings are a sham meant to provide only the appearance of democratic debate process:

The fix is in for sure and it makes me super uncomfortable seeing a provincial government in Canada adopting the same tactics as the QAnon-Republican parrty down south.
