One third of homicides in Montreal North

The Journal observes that one third of Montreal’s murders this year have taken place in Montreal North. Of 12 killings, four have happened in that borough. Note the suave quote from Guy Ryan, who used to be an inspector in the SPVM’s organized crime section, without mentioning he’s also the son of Yves Ryan, mayor of the area from 1963 till 2001 when it was amalgamated into the big city.
