Duckling fad ends up at SPCA

The SPCA is dealing with an influx of ducks following a TikTok fad for duckling videos. Ducks are not suitable pets for apartment dwellers and indeed most other urban settings, and I wonder whether parks with ponds are also acquiring new denizens abandoned by erstwhile owners.

However, like the hens abandoned during the urban chicken coop fad, I wonder whether this could be seen as an opportunity rather than a crisis.
