Anti-radicalization centre draws ire from city comptroller

The affair of the anti-radicalization centre is thickening up. La Presse found that the document available through access to information was largely censored but the visible parts suggested the city comptroller was angry that centre director Herman Deparice-Okomba criticized La Meute and that he characterized the Quebec City mosque attack as terrorism. This Twitter thread by Les Perreaux lays it out in detail, although why the comptroller was more concerned to protect white supremacist groups than to do their job – minding city funds – is an interesting question.
