Robert LaPalme, artist of the metro
The Centre des mémoires montréalaises looks back on artist Robert LaPalme, cartoonist and painter. He’s probably best known for the panels at the foot of the escalator down to the metro’s yellow line, originally conceived for Expo 67, and for Orphée et Dionysos sur les bords du Styx at Place des Arts.
