Barry, like Émile Nelligan, had an Irish father.

Tee Owe, at a cursory Google, probably not. Fred Barry married quite late and I don’t see any indication he had kids with any partner or spouse, and I can’t find anything about Stephen Barry’s origins.
It isn’t an unusual surname, after all.
