I read Patrick Lagacé’s column about the controversy the other day. Early on he says something like “as all of Quebec is already aware” and I had no idea about any of it and so also felt like a very bad anglo lol
Most people are probably unwilling to admit an interest / addiction to one or another TV reality show: Big Brother, Amazing Race, Survivor, or from the UK Love island or TOWIE.
La Presse’s Hugo Dumas, @hugodumas, is always a dependable source to understand Quebec television, explaining the drama on screen, and behind the scene.
Worth noting Occupation Double is a Julie Snyder production clearly adding to the drama.

I’ve never watched OD; and, I never miss a column by Hugo Dumas.

What puzzles me is why a show which is delberately set up to provoke dramatic situations is being criticized for doing just that.
