Pierre Poilievre’s support for giving the Order of Canada to Don Cherry – unpopular in Quebec even among its Conservatives – was pilloried by Chapleau, and the distribution of Radio‑Canada’s RDI feed on Amazon was mocked by Godin.

Quebec politics were not a big topic this week, although Godin got in a simple but strong image about Quebec immigration policies and Côté commented on the dominance of war news over stories about succession at the CAQ.

Social commentary had a moment, with weather, recycling, the cost of fuel and the prevalence of ever larger vehicles being noted.

Ygreck may have been on vacation this week, as we’ve seen no new cartoons in the Journal since March 8.
