Russian church receives threats
The Russian church on St-Joseph in Outremont has received a threatening letter, by implication connected with the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Item mentions that Russian churches in other places have also received threats.

How does the Russian Orthodox church (under the Moscow Patriarchate) feel about the creation of the Ukranian Orthodox church in 2014? They believe they’re in a holy war. https://www.economist.com/europe/2022/03/21/russias-orthodox-church-paints-the-conflict-in-ukraine-as-a-holy-war

Putin’s not just waging a war of expansion. He’s in a holy crusade to take back his church, which went through a schism several years ago.

Kevin, sure, but what’s the relation to the Outremont church? Is the argument that because the Russian Orthodox church believes it’s in a holy war that threatening assassination is ok?
