A wet December to be followed by cold January
There was more rain in December than we’ve had since 1941, although it wasn’t an especially mild month. All that rain fell in brief thaws between cold snaps.
Now Environment Canada is predicting a colder than usual January.

While I recognize that climate change makes weather more difficult to predict, given that it was 1 degree yesterday and 2 degrees today I question the accuracy of this prediciion in even the most general sense.
