StatCan to release data on languages

J-F Lisée and Richard Martineau are revving their engines: Statistics Canada will be releasing 2021 census data on language use Wednesday.

Update: The first analysis I’ve got is from the Toronto Star, which says the proportion of Canadians who mainly speak French at home continues to decline almost everywhere, including Quebec. The only place that saw a small increase in this metric is the Yukon. Undoubtedly there’s more analysis and shouting to come.
