The city’s opening its purse to buy a piece of land in the east end called the boisé Steinberg because the grocery chain used to have a warehouse on the land. But it has to engineer a sort of three‑way deal with Hydro‑Quebec before taking ownership.
I suspect if it becomes a park it won’t be named Steinberg, but we shall see.

For a minute there, I got really excited. It sounded like the city was buying the land where Ray-Mont Logistics is building their shitty project. But this is the land just to the north of there (as stated in the article). It’s great to have more green space. I just hope the Ray-Mont yards won’t make this park/green space inhospitable.
