The city’s opening its purse to buy a piece of land in the east end called the boisé Steinberg because the grocery chain used to have a warehouse on the land. But it has to engineer a sort of three‑way deal with Hydro‑Quebec before taking ownership.
I suspect if it becomes a park it won’t be named Steinberg, but we shall see.

The Jean Coutu store on Decarie in St-Laurent caught fire last night and was pretty badly damaged. The store was closed at the time, and nobody was hurt.

Gonna have to search how to change pharmacy networks when the original one..burnt down.
@azrhey – Just go to the Phramaprix or another drug store and tell them you want them to start filling your scripts; they’ll take care of the rest. Prescriptions are part of your medical record and, if it has your health card number, any pharmacy can access them

For a minute there, I got really excited. It sounded like the city was buying the land where Ray-Mont Logistics is building their shitty project. But this is the land just to the north of there (as stated in the article). It’s great to have more green space. I just hope the Ray-Mont yards won’t make this park/green space inhospitable.
