The city is going to have to cut down 6,500 trees in the north end Bois-de-Saraguay because of damage from the emerald ash borer. There’s no number given of the total number of trees in the park, but the last paragraph here says there are lots of other tree species there which haven’t been touched, so far, by invasive pests.
